Let me start out by correcting myself on the last blog entry. It's a $700 BILLION bail out, not million, but who's counting. This is in response to my last entry from ANONYMOUS.
And while I'm also not an economist, I am married to a financial analist. So I have a bit, not much, but a bit of knowledge on this. By allowing the stuffy CEOs' to keep thier jobs nice a cushy, the government is undermineing the general public. While a I agree with you that not everyone is financially responsible with credit cards, maybe a there could be an answer for that as well. I recently watched a distrubing story about the ins and outs of credit card companies. Some of them virtually PUSH money on the comsumer and without the comsumer even realizing it, hike up the intrest to where it's nearly imposible to pay back. Now isn't that criminal? Shouldn't there be a law against that? My point is, this financial and economical disaster is one giant circle spinning out of control. And honestly, everyone is to blame. So I guess there isn't an easy answer to this. But seriously, how many times are the rich MFer's gonna get help? Think about it.

You're right. 700M or 700B is the same shitty number and debt is debt. People in other countries are laughing their arses off at us because we can't balance our budget and are in a war we shouldn't be in with troops spread far too thin in the Middle East because of an asshole in the Oval Office named George W who "wanted to go after the guys who went after his dad." F&#k! and people wonder why a lot of young people just in college are cynical about our government?!?! Duuuuh
HAVE YOU READ A BOOK CALLED "ANIMAL FARM" BY GEORGE ORWELL? IF YOU HAVEN'T, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU PICK UP A COPY. THOSE IN POWER (THOSE WHO CONTROL THE PURSE STRINGS/PUPPET STRINGS) WILL ALWAYS MANIPULATE THOSE BEING STRUNG ALONG. SOMETIMES THIS MANIFESTS ITSELF THROUGH FISCAL MANIPULATION AND SOMETIMES THROUGH PHYSICAL INTIMIDATION. SOMETIMES...BOTH. THE BOURGEOISE WILL ALWAYS TRY TO PULL THE WOOL OVER THE SERVANTS AND THE PEASANTS (MODERN DAY TRANSLATION: WORKING CLASS AND THE POOR BEING FOOLED BY THE RICH). IT'S INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH IT'S BEEN HAPPENING SINCE THE ROMAN EMPIRE, IT NEVER CHANGES AND JUST REARS ITS HEAD WITH DIFFERENT LYRICS, BUT THE SAME MUSIC.
